Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joey Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harland Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joey Reid could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Harland Sanders's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reid drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Reid drops back looking for a leg! Sanders is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanders manages to kick Reid off! Reid jumps back into Sanders's guard.
Reid might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sanders wants to get back to his feet.

Reid is looking for a kimura but Sanders is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reid to get the leverage.
Reid tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sanders knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Reid is working for a kimura but Sanders is defending it quite comfortably.
Sanders is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Reid is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Reid works his foot free and advances to mount.

Reid with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Reid jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sanders is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sanders and Reid has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Reid tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanders tries to bench press Reid off him but Reid keeps the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Reid is working to tighten is grip on Sanders's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sanders has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Reid is really squeezing tight and eventually Sanders passes out! Reid breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
