The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Business scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Business decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bird to his feet.

Business closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bird tries to lock up and control but Business gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Business tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bird throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Business has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Serious Business wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
