Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Broyles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek B. Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooper. Cooper has chosen Cult Of Personality - Living Colour as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek B. Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broyles misses with a series of wild punches.
Broyles throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A punch combination from Broyles misses.
Cooper looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Derek B. Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Broyles throws a nice looking combination but Cooper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Broyles misses the body punch
letting Cooper counter with a right hand.
It looks like Scott Broyles has been cut.
Broyles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cooper looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A punch lands to the side of Broyles 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cooper moves away from the strike by Broyles.
Cooper cracks Broyles with a right hand to the side of the head.
Broyles tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cooper feints and as Broyles raises his hands in defense, Cooper changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Broyles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cooper content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cooper trying to control the position from guard on top but Broyles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooper won't allow Broyles to sweep him here.
Cooper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Cooper missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Derek B. Cooper.
Cooper clobbers Broyles with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Good exchange - Cooper coming out on top.
Broyles is rocked!
Cooper throws an uppercut from hell that sends Broyles clean off his feet! He's out cold! Cooper stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
