The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xyz gets a clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Xyz.
Xyz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
PerseiSeven gets tackled into the cage by Xyz. Xyz maintains the clinch.
PerseiSeven turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
I wouldn't like to be where Xyz is right now.
Xyz is trying to improve his position.
PerseiSeven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Xyz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
PerseiSeven working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
PerseiSeven in side control lands a decent elbow.
PerseiSeven goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Xyz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in PerseiSeven's guard! Nice work there by Xyz!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
PerseiSeven wants to improve his position but instead Xyz has moved into half guard.

PerseiSeven is desperately trying to improve his position but Xyz has a good base and remains in mount.
Xyz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Xyz sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Xyz won't let PerseiSeven get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
PerseiSeven defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Xyz.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Xyz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Xyz wants to control the pace but PerseiSeven is squirming around nicely.
PerseiSeven is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Xyz misses with a head shot.
Xyz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for PerseiSeven because Xyz loaded up on that one.

PerseiSeven closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Xyz's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
PerseiSeven tries to stand but can't do so whilst Xyz controls his leg.
Xyz is looking for a sweep. PerseiSeven is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

PerseiSeven is looking for a kimura but Xyz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for PerseiSeven to get the leverage.
