Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Doleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doleman looks for the body kick but Thompson saw that one coming.
Thompson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Thompson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Doleman.
Thompson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thompson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Thompson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Doleman has time to react.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown but Doleman shows good takedown defense.
Doleman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Thompson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Doleman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
