Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laurent Tesser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Aldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Laurent Tesser!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tesser moves into range and clinches up with Aldo.
Tesser scores with a shot to the side of Aldo's head.

Tesser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Tesser clinches up against the cage.

Tesser breaks from the clinch.
Aldo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tesser swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aldo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A punch combination from Tesser misses.

Aldo tries to keep at a distance but Tesser has taken the fight into the clinch.
Aldo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Aldo wants to break free but Tesser has control.

Tesser breaks from the clinch.
Tesser tries to bum rush Aldo with a series of wild strikes but Aldo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tesser throws a right hand that Aldo ducks under and follows up with a left that Aldo also avoids with ease.
Laurent Tesser is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tesser lands a big uppercut and Aldo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Aldo looks OK. Tesser waves Aldo back to his feet!

Aldo is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tesser drops Aldo onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Aldo is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Aldo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aldo takes a shot to the head.
Tesser dips a shoulder and cracks Aldo with a mighty uppercut! Aldo falls back against the cage and Tesser unloads with a barrage of strikes! Aldo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tesser screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Laurent Tesser!
