Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gab Showman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner has his takedown stuffed
and Showman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Wagner drops his hands momentarily and Showman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Oooooh!!! Showman has knocked Wagner down with a huge combo! Showman steps away and waves a wobbly Wagner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Wagner is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Showman enables Wagner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Showman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wagner is still in real trouble! Can Showman finish him?

Showman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wagner is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Showman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wagner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wagner avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wagner seems to have recovered his senses.

Showman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wagner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wagner trying to control the position from guard on top but Showman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wagner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Showman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Showman can't keep his opponent in guard - Wagner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Showman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wagner pulls his head out easily.
Showman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wagner on the ground.

Showman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Wagner moves into full mount! Showman won't be happy about that!

Wagner has control of Showman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Showman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Wagner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wagner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Showman is looking to escape.

Wagner has hold of Showman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Showman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wagner trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Showman's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Wagner prevents Showman from getting the reversal.

Showman is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Showman is trying to stand up here but Wagner is controlling him well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wagner looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wagner is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Showman sees it coming and defends easily.
Showman is refusing to be controlled, as Wagner sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gab Showman dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wagner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Showman sprawls well. Showman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wagner gets slowly back to his feet.
Showman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wagner under the eye.
Wagner blocks a head kick by Showman.
A head kick misses from Showman.
Wagner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Showman.
Showman tries to clinch there but Wagner circles away.
Showman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Showman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wagner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Showman paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Showman closes the distance and pushes Wagner back into the cage.
Wagner tries to pull guard but Showman won't allow it.
Wagner fails to pull guard.
Gab Showman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abe Wagner.
Showman lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Showman lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wagner backwards.
Showman works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Showman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Showman throws a good cross that connects.
Wagner closes the distance but Showman moves to the side
letting Showman counter with a right hand.
Wagner wants to clinch up but Showman keeps it at a distance.

Showman lands a big head kick that sends Wagner tumbling to the mat! Showman takes a step backwards and waves Wagner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wagner is breathing heavily.
Showman throws a head kick that misses.
Wagner fails with the takedown.
Showman lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Wagner is looking to close the distance but Showman sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Wagner crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Wagner is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
