Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Holyshit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syd Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holyshit comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne- I feel like dying. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Holyshit loads up on a big right hand but Barrett slips the punch.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Barrett - that will leave a mark!
Holyshit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barrett.
Barrett moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barrett moves out of range of the body kick from Holyshit.

Holyshit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Barrett pushes Holyshit away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Holyshit gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Evander Holyshit will probably get the nod.

Holyshit shoots for a double leg takedown but Barrett sprawls well. He's pushed Holyshit's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barrett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Holyshit has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Holyshit and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Barrett chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Holyshit can pounce on him.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Evander Holyshit.
