Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivett checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Rivett misses with the combination.
Masaru scoring well with a low kick there.
Masaru stuffs the takedown.
Masaru fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rivett checks it well.
Rivett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Masaru is pressing down on Rivett's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivett is breathing heavily.
Masaru looking for a sweep. Not yet Masaru, not yet.
Masaru throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Masaru lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Rivett preventing the sweep.
Rivett wants to control from the top but Masaru keeps moving.
Rivett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Masaru has a closed guard, preventing Rivett from standing up.
Masaru pushes a forearm under Rivett's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rivett is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
