The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pencil shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pencil showed some decent athleticism there.

Pencil is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Price is just riding it out for now. Pencil eventually gives up the hold.

Price is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pencil pulls his head out easily.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Pencil seems to be working for a kimura but Price defends the submission attempt.
Price makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Price.

Price has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pencil can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Price manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pencil is wriggling around trying to escape.
Price seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Pencil is holding on tight.
Pencil bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Price has his foot on Pencil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pencil works his way back into a safe position though.

Pencil drops back looking for a leg! Price is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Price manages to kick Pencil off! Pencil jumps back into Price's guard.

Pencil must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pencil decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Price, up you get!
Pencil shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Price but Price pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Price throws a head kick that half lands.
Pencil shoots in and drives through. Price sprawls well.

Price is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pencil is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pencil tries to buck Price off but Price is having none of it.

Price has an Americana. Pencil didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Price is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Price hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
