The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins has closed the distance and engaged Asura in a clinch.
Hopkins tightens his grip and picks Asura up, before dumping him to the ground. Asura manages to land in guard.
Hopkins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Asura is pulling down on Hopkins's head. It's preventing any offense from Hopkins, at least for the moment.
Asura pushes a forearm under Hopkins's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hopkins is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
