Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flynn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Ass by Mickey Finn & Aphrodite. Wood has chosen X Gonna Give It To Ya as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mark Wood was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wood throws a big shot that misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wood.
Wood misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Wood throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Flynn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wood looks to score with a jab to the body but Flynn is just out of range.
Flynn lands with a shot to the body.

Flynn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wood takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Flynn lands a few punches from side control.

Wood is working to avoid the ground and pound but Flynn connects with a decent elbow.

Wood is rocked!
Flynn cracks Wood with a big right hand but Wood just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Wood is still in real trouble! Can Flynn finish him?
Wood takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wood manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Flynn wants to improve his position but Wood is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wood seems to have recovered his senses.

Flynn throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Flynn is on top in guard.
Flynn is pushing down on Wood's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wood is fighting to maintain full guard but Flynn has managed to sneak the leg through.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Flynn connects with a nice short shot to Wood's temple.
Flynn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Wood knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Wood pushes Flynn off looking to stand but Flynn dives back in and keeps control.
Flynn passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Wood!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Flynn is landing with some decent strikes but Wood is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Wood turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Flynn off and cradles Wood's limp body as Flynn celebrates with his corner.
