PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ecurb Bliss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa comes to the cage accompanied by Sub me son. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bliss fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Barbosa gets a clinch.

Barbosa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bliss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barbosa's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barbosa stands up and waves to Bliss to follow him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Bliss counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bliss.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Barbosa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bliss postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Ecurb Bliss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bliss tightens his grip and picks Barbosa up, before dumping him to the ground. Barbosa manages to land in guard.
Bliss slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Barbosa has his feet on Bliss's thighs here. He's pushed Bliss off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bliss screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
