Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kramer Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nice Guy!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones moves into the clinch.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Guy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Guy's guard.
Jones content to stall in guard here.

Guy is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Guy throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Guy.
Guy looks winded!
Jones passes Guy's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Jones decides to stand up.
Guy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Guy tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Guy back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Guy is rocked!

Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Guy's half guard.
Guy is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Guy is looking to improve his position.
Jones works his way into full mount!
Guy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Jones tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Jones throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Guy because Jones loaded up on that one.
Jones controlling from mount.

Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Guy is having none of it.
Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Guy seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Guy throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jones looking to finish with strikes here!

Jones throws a sloppy strike and Guy uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Guy has ended up in Jones's guard.

Guy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guy has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jones is trying to control the position but Guy postures up.
Jones pulls Guy in to control the position.

Kramer Jones has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guy is looking to escape.
Jones throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Guy reaches up to try and control the position but Jones seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Guy rolls and tries to escape and now Jones has his back!

Jones is looking for the choke from the back position but Guy is controlling his hands well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Even with his hooks in, Jones manages to miss with strikes from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kramer Jones dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones gets to mount! Guy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Jones punching from mount but Guy doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Jones working for a submission but Guy is keeping him at bay.
Guy tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guy is breathing heavily.
Jones controlling the pace for now.
Guy is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jones blocks Guy's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Jones wants to take Guy's back here but Guy is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Jones has hold of Guy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Guy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones trying to control but Guy is having none of it.
Jones is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Guy is trying to escape the mount.

Guy blocking the ground and pound.
Jones controlling the position easily from mount.
Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Guy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jones.
Guy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
Guy wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Guy is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Jones looking to break Guy's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Guy remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jones will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Jones really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Guy.
Jones is looking to control Guy but Guy is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Guy is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Jones is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Guy defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Guy wants to control his opponent's hands but Jones gets his hands free.

Guy wants to escape the position.
Guy rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones throwing shots but Guy is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kramer Jones dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Guy looks to clinch
and Jones counters with a nice low kick that buckles Guy's knee momentarily.

Guy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones.

Jones is adopting a defensive guard.
Guy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from.

Jones is controlling Guy's posture.
Guy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kramer Jones has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Jones clinches.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Guy!
Jones sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Jones controlling the position easily from mount.
Nice Guy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Guy flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Jones controlling his opponent.
Guy tries to control Jones's body but Jones pushes him off. Guy squirms to his side and now Jones has his back!
I would not like to be Guy right now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones is hanging on to Guy's back as he tries to escape.
Jones misses with punches from the back.
Guy is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Jones.

Jones is looking for the choke from the back position but Guy is controlling his hands well.

Jones is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Will Jones go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Guy is keeping busy.
I really don't envy Guy right now.

Jones just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
