Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks misses with a body kick.
Ilie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Banks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The strikes coming from Ilie are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Ilie wants to control but Banks is keeping him busy.
Ilie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Banks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ilie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ilie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ilie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Banks is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Banks avoids a strike by Ilie and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Ilie's guard! Fantastic escape!

Ilie wants to take a breather but Banks is having none of it.

and Ilie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Banks thinking.
Ilie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Banks as he jumps to the side.
Ilie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Banks with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ilie to score with a decent uppercut.

Ilie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bob Banks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dragos Ilie.
A nice inside leg kick there by Banks. That's going to slow Ilie down.

and Ilie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Banks's guard now.
Dragos Ilie has got the better of the ground game so far.

Banks leaves Ilie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ilie drives through with a takedown into Banks's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ilie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

I would just about give that final round to Dragos Ilie.
I've got Ilie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
