Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dirty Randy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braz Serra!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Randy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Serra's guard now.

Serra is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Serra punching from the bottom.
Serra thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Serra avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Randy tries to stand but Serra is controlling from the bottom.
Randy postures up in Serra's guard and throws a big left but Serra blocks it.
Serra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Randy works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Serra is staying active underneath Randy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Serra landing rabbit punches to the side of Randy's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Serra tries to get to full guard but Randy has control of the leg.

Randy is looking to take a break and control but Serra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Randy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Serra!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Randy manages to capitalize on a mistake by Serra to take his back!
Serra prevents Randy from getting a body triangle.
Serra is trying to stand back up.
Randy biding his time, looking for the opening.

Randy avoiding Serra 's attempts to control his hands.

Randy has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
I really don't envy Serra right now.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Serra breaks Randy's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Randy is trying to control the position but Serra postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Randy wants to sweep here but Serra controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dirty Randy dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Randy doesn't manage to clinch there - Serra circles away.
Randy swats away the attempt to clinch by Serra.

Serra gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Randy decides to pull guard.
Serra chips away with some ground and pound.
Serra is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Serra lands a couple of elbows.

Randy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Serra throws a strike but Randy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Serra keeping moving, preventing Randy from controlling successfully.

Serra striking off his back but it's not causing Randy any problems.

Serra is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Serra thows a huge punch but Randy dodges it nicely.
Serra looks to land a strike but Randy avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Randy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Randy wants to control the pace but Serra is squirming around nicely.

Randy get's back to his feet.
Serra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Randy is fending him off so far but Serra persists. Nope, Randy circles away and we're back to standing.
Serra throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Randy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Serra, pushing him back against the cage.
Randy has a couple of punches blocked by Serra.

Randy pulls guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Serra postures up in Randy's guard and throws a big left but Randy blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Randy wants to sweep here but Serra controlling him for the moment.
Serra working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Randy's head.
Randy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Serra loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Serra trying to control but Randy is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Serra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Randy looking for a guillotine here but Serra defends easily.
Serra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Randy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Randy kicks Serra off and gets to his feet.

Randy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Serra has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Randy. Oh but Serra has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Randy goes limp - he's gone! Serra jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Braz Serra!
