Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas has chosen Patroit's Anthem as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Jackson Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Thomas scores with a leg kick.
Martin tries to clinch but Thomas is having none of it.
Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Martin.
Martin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thomas lands a leg kick that knocks Martin off balance momentarily.
Thomas leaves Martin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Martin scores with a jab to the body.
Martin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thomas dodges the punch combination from Martin.
A nice inside leg kick there by Thomas. That's going to slow Martin down.
Thomas scores with a hook to the body. Martin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A head kick misses from Martin.
Thomas throws a leg kick but Martin checks it.

Martin shoots for a takedown but Thomas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson Thomas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Martin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Thomas's half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Thomas manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Thomas is pulling down on Martin's head. It's preventing any offense from Martin, at least for the moment.

Martin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thomas pinned against the cage. Thomas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Martin tries to score with a low kick but Thomas moves his leg out of the way.
Martin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Martin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A decent looking cross lands there for Thomas.


It looks like Michael Martin has been cut.
Thomas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Martin. Martin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Thomas throws a push kick but Martin slaps the foot to one side.
Thomas motions for Martin to come forward. Thomas throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Martin throws a jab when Thomas was well out of range.
Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thomas lands with a cross.
Left hook, right uppercut from Martin.
Thomas tries to clinch but Martin moves out of range.

Martin shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl out of it but Martin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thomas wants to clinch up but Martin keeps it at a distance.
Thomas misses with a double jab.
Martin misses with a body punch
and Thomas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Martin is breathing heavily.
Martin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Martin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thomas as he jumps to the side.
Martin misses with a straight left.
Martin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thomas.
Martin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Thomas to score with a decent uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martin closes the distance and clinches up with Thomas, looking for a takedown. Martin pushes Thomas against the cage but Thomas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thomas throws a leg kick that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Thomas finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Martin walks into a straight right hand from Thomas.
Martin misses with a head kick.
Thomas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Martin counters with a two punch combo.
Thomas throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Thomas takes a swing at Martin's ribcage but misses.
Thomas lands a nice hook to Martin's body. Martin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Thomas lands a slapping body shot.
Good leg kick by Thomas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Thomas throws a good cross that connects.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Martin checks a leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Thomas stuns Martin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Thomas thows a body shot but no joy.
Thomas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thomas wants it to stay on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson Thomas dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Michael Martin's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Thomas pounces like a tiger and cracks Martin with a vicious hook! Martin is down but not out! Thomas follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jackson Thomas! Jackson Thomas retains his light heavyweight title!
Post fight, Jackson Thomas stared into the camera and said 'This is it people, this is fucking it!!!! The New World Order is islam!!! I know it sounds crazy and paranoid but look around.... Islamization is real.'.
