The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oslo misses with a series of wild punches.
McGergor slips a jab and a cross from Oslo.
A big left from Oslo misses.

McGergor takes the fight into the clinch.

McGergor lands a takedown into guard.
Oslo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oslo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McGergor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
McGergor wants to control from the top but Oslo keeps moving.

McGergor gets to his feet - Oslo follows without any prompting.
Oslo drops McGergor with a left and a right! Oh, McGergor is hurt - Oslo dives into side control looking to finish!


It looks like Robert McGergor has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oslo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McGergor, who protects the arm well.
McGergor wants to control but Oslo postures up.

McGergor is trying to get back to half guard.

Oslo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Oslo working the strikes but McGergor uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
McGergor wants to control but Oslo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Oslo is looking for a kimura but McGergor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Oslo to get the leverage.
Oslo wants to pass to mount but McGergor is defending the position.
Oslo wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGergor keeps working.
McGergor tries to get to full guard but Oslo has control of the leg.
McGergor wants to get back to his feet.

Oslo moves into full mount! McGergor won't be happy about that!
McGergor is breathing heavily.
McGergor is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
McGergor working to try and regain half guard.

Oslo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Oslo looking to isolate an arm here. McGergor doesn't see it coming and as Oslo extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Oslo!
