Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rajun Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rajun Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Aldo Jr!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldo Jr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Singh manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Aldo Jr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Singh not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Singh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jose Aldo Jr.

Aldo Jr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Aldo Jr takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Singh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Singh tries to control Aldo Jr's body but Aldo Jr pushes him off. Singh squirms to his side and now Aldo Jr has his back!

Aldo Jr is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Singh defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You can see the frustration on Singh's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Aldo Jr keeps control of the position easily here as Singh tries to buck him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Aldo Jr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Singh is pushing Aldo Jr's head away, looking to escape. Aldo Jr manages to hold on to the position though.

Aldo Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Singh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Singh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Aldo Jr is aware though and is defending well.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Singh is on top in guard.

Aldo Jr wants to sweep but no luck.
Singh prevents Aldo Jr from getting back to his feet.
Jose Aldo Jr is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aldo Jr can do anything to dispel that myth.
Aldo Jr has control of Singh's left arm, preventing Singh from doing any damage.

Well Aldo Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
