Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derek Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers has chosen Superman as his entrance music. Derek Riggs could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marshall Mathers's chin.

With a record of 22 - 9 - 4, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshall Mathers!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Mathers there.
Riggs looks to throw the jab but Mathers is out of range.
Riggs cracks Mathers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Riggs lands a lovely overhand right.
Mathers drops his hands momentarily and Riggs takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Riggs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mathers manages to avoid it.
The crowd cheers as Riggs lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mathers doesn't seem phased though.

Riggs looks to land a left hand but Mathers moved out of range nicely.
Riggs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mathers moves away.

Mathers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
