The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christofi wants to clinch.

Levanen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Christofi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Levanen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Christofi!
Levanen unloads with some shots from mount but Christofi bucks and avoids them well.

Levanen seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Christofi is holding on tight.

Levanen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Christofi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Christofi shrugs it off.

Levanen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Levanen works to advance to full mount. Christofi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Levanen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Christofi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
BOOM! Levanen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
