The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTrigger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rock misses with a wild body shot.
Tsa Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rock blocks a head kick by McTrigger.
McTrigger throws a low kick, looking for Rock's leg but Rock calmly moves out of range.
Rock throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McTrigger.
McTrigger tries to land a leg kick but Rock saw it coming and moves away.

McTrigger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rock to the ground. McTrigger is now in Rock's guard.

McTrigger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

McTrigger has his foot on Rock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rock works his way back into a safe position though.
George McTrigger has got the better of the ground game so far.
McTrigger is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McTrigger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rock swivels and escapes.
Good leg kick by McTrigger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well McTrigger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
