Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasconcelos Vitor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo has chosen Fort Minor - Remember the name as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Vasconcelos Vitor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vasconcelos Vitor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vitor has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Melo.
Melo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vitor.
Good leg kick by Melo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Melo lands a lovely overhand right.
Melo thows a leg kick but Vitor checks it
and Vitor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Felipe Melo has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloppy strikes from Vitor. Those never looked like landing.
Melo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Vitor swats away the attempt to clinch by Melo.
Felipe Melo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Vitors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Melo thows a body shot but no joy.
Vitor jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Melo throws a nice inside leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Melo.

A solid leg kick lands there for Melo.
Melo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Vitor is rocked!
A thudding body kick lands there by Melo!
Vitor is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Melo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Melo connects with a leg kick. Vitor looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Melo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vitor has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Melo! This one is all over!

A pretty intense looking Felipe Melo took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
