Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Matiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matiss has chosen Ennio Morricone - The Ecstasy of Gold as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Ferreira. Beautiful body shot.
Ferreira throws a head kick that misses.
Matiss lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ferreira's sensitive parts.
Ferreira thows a left - swing and a miss!
Matiss swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ferreira chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Matiss can pounce on him.

Matiss throws a sloppy head kick
letting Ferreira counter with a right hand.
Ferreira feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Matisss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ferreira misses with a straight right.
Ferreira cracks Matiss with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Matiss scores a nice knee to the body.
Ferreira can't break the clinch.

Matiss is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ferreira is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Matiss to the mat. Matiss regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Matiss has his foot on Ferreira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ferreira works his way back into a safe position though.
Ferreira tries to free his leg and advance position but Matiss is retaining full guard.
Matiss keeping moving, preventing Ferreira from controlling successfully.

Matiss has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ferreira should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Matiss has tightened it up now! Ferreira should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
