PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyler Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown avoids the body shot from Jensen.

Jensen gets a double leg takedown into Brown's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jensen gets to his feet - Brown follows without any prompting.
Jensen misses with a low kick.
Jensen shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jensen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jensen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Brown manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jensen on his heels. He'll look to pass Jensen's guard now, I'm sure.

Jensen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Jensen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brown is trying to defend but Jensen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jensen shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bobby Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Jensen.
Jensen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jensen is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jensen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Brown shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Jensen drives through with a takedown into Brown's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Jensen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jensen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jensen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
