The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monorrey's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kelly under the eye.

and Monorrey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kelly with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Monorrey to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monorrey is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kelly had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Kelly shoots for a double leg takedown but Monorrey sprawls well. He's pushed Kelly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
