Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Silverman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jimmy c (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, jimmy c!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverman throws a head kick that misses.
c shoots in but no luck this time.
A head kick from Silverman lands but c takes it in his stride.
c shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silverman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silverman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silverman throws a sloppy head kick and c moves out of range easily.
c throws and low kick but Silverman moves out of range easily.

Silverman scores with a takedown into c's guard.
c wants to sweep but no luck.
Silverman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Silverman prevents c from improving his position.
c is trying to stand up here but Silverman is controlling him well.
c tries to roll over but Silverman keeps him under control.
Silverman stops c from getting back to his feet.

Silverman seems to be working for a kimura but c defends the submission attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

c is pushing Silverman's head away, looking to escape. Silverman manages to hold on to the position though.
c is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silverman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, c has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on c's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
c wants to get back to his feet but Silverman drags him back down.

Silverman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
c gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silverman is looking to advance position but c won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silverman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and c defends it well.
c wants to control but Silverman passes into side.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Silverman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by c, who protects the arm well.
c gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
c pushes Silverman off but Silverman dives into side control.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and c counters with a good, hard body kick but Silverman shrugs it off.

A left and a right from c both land. Nice combination.
Horrible takedown by c or perhaps it was just good defense by Silverman which made him look bad.

c connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Silverman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Silverman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has c pinned against the cage. c gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

c misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Silverman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
c wants to control but Silverman is keeping busy.
c is breathing heavily.

Silverman wants to work for an arm triangle but c is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

c pushes Silverman off looking to stand but Silverman dives back in and keeps control.

c kicks Silverman off and gets back to his feet.

c throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silverman's waist but Silverman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing c off to one side.
Silverman stuffs the takedown attempt from c. c gets slowly back to his feet.

Silverman takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
c lands an elbow.
c is looking to take a break and control but Silverman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

jimmy c showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Silverman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Silverman lands a head kick. c smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Silverman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
c tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silverman swivels and escapes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Silverman manages to pull guard.
c wants to control from the top but Silverman keeps moving.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Silverman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but c can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
c trying to control but Silverman is working from the bottom.

Silverman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

c stands up and waves to Silverman to follow him.
c keeps Silverman at a distance using the push kick.
Silverman misses with a kick to the body

and c counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silverman's guard now.
c connects with a couple of short punches.

c trying to control the position from guard on top but Silverman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silverman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Silverman has a closed guard, preventing c from standing up.
jimmy c has got the better of the ground game so far.

c drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silverman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now c has Silverman in his guard.
Silverman tries to free his leg and advance position but c is retaining full guard.
c pulls Silverman in close to prevent any damage.

Silverman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silverman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
c is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
c bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silverman's guard.
c makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
c controls from within his opponent's guard.
c wants to stand but Silverman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
c trying to control the position from guard on top but Silverman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
c connects with a couple of short punches.

And that's the end of the fight!
jimmy c comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think c has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
