The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CALVERT fails with the takedown.
Scully drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
CALVERT wants to stand and escape but Scully is having none of it.
CALVERT is breathing heavily.
Scully trying to control but CALVERT is working from the bottom.
Scully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. CALVERT is keeping the position for now.

Scully tries to free his leg and advance position but CALVERT is retaining full guard.

Scully drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Scully seems to have locked his on tight now - CALVERT screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Scully, as he picks up the win!
