Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matej Vidacek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoichi Sumachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Matej Vidacek has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matej Vidacek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoichi Sumachi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vidacek shoots in but no luck this time.
Sumachi fails with the takedown.
Vidacek tries for a takedown but Sumachi circles away easily

and Sumachi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sumachi.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Vidacek wants to get back to his feet but Sumachi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Vidacek has his foot on Sumachi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sumachi works his way back into a safe position though.
Sumachi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sumachi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vidacek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sumachi has managed to get both his arms back between Vidacek's legs - danger averted.
Sumachi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Sumachi stands and steps away. Vidacek gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Sumachi moves into the clinch.

Sumachi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sumachi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sumachi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vidacek to his feet.

Sumachi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vidacek's guard.

Sumachi stands up from Vidacek's guard - Sumachi perhaps looking for a knockout.

Vidacek feints and as Sumachi raises his hands in defense, Vidacek changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vidacek wants to get up but he can't break Sumachi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Sumachi seems keen to control Vidacek's posture.

Sumachi is looking to sinch up a triangle. Vidacek throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sumachi's body to avoid the submission. Sumachi has instead reached around Vidacek's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sumachi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
