Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Hartlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abaka Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hartlock comes to the cage accompanied by Shoot to Thrill - AC/DC. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abaka Khan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with a head kick.
Abaka Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan throws a body kick that misses.
Hartlock blocks a jab.

Khan gets a clinch.
Khan trying to stall but Hartlock improves his position.
Hartlock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Khan walks away with a smile on his face. Hartlock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hartlock avoids a punch combination nicely.

Khan clinches with his opponent.
Hartlock tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hartlock has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Khan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hartlock tries to score a body lock takedown but Khan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Khan lands an elbow inside that Hartlock shrugs off.

Khan pushes Hartlock up against the cage in a clinch.
Hartlock takes an elbow to the forehead.
Khan is pressed up against the cage. Hartlock has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khan down to the mat. Khan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Khan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Khan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hartlock is defending well for now.

Hartlock wants to take the fight to the mat but Khan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Hartlock gets control of Khan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hartlock will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Hartlock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Khan wants to control from the top but Hartlock keeps moving.

Hartlock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Khan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hartlock is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Khan is aware though and is defending well.

Khan wants to control from the top but Hartlock keeps moving.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Khan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hartlock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Khan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Khan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hartlock controls his leg.
Khan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hartlock keeps working.

Hartlock is pressing down on Khan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Khan stands and steps away. Hartlock gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hartlock tries to pull guard but Khan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Hartlock pulls guard successfully.
Khan wants to get up but he can't break Hartlock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hartlock is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Khan frees his head nicely. Oh but Hartlock has switched to an armbar! Khan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
