The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dobromir wants to get back to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dobromir is on top in guard.
Dobromir drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cotto manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dobromir has Cotto in his guard.
Cotto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dobromir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cotto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Dobromir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Cotto has his foot on Dobromir's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dobromir works his way back into a safe position though.

Dobromir is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cotto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cotto's back!

Dobromir wants to control the position but Cotto frees himself and scrambles - Dobromir manages to regain control in side control.
Dobromir goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Cotto rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dobromir's guard! Nice work there by Cotto!

Dobromir lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cotto!

Dobromir is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Cotto has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dobromir has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Cotto taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dobromir doesn't care though - he's delighted!
