The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ambush decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Jamerson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
JJ Jamerson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ambush changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jamerson tries to avoid it but Ambush manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jamerson to the ground. Jamerson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ambush shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jamerson pinned against the cage. Jamerson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ambush wants to take the fight to the mat but Jamerson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
