Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manus Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cyco Vision. The crowd seem to be enjoying Grant's choice of entrance music: Thunderstruck - AC/DC. Stan Rivers has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant throws a leg kick
and Rivers counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grant. Rivers does a little dance to reset his feet.

Grant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rivers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rivers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Grant looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Rivers counters with a nice right hand that sends Grant toppling to the canvas! Grant scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rivers finish him?!

and as Grant loses concentration momentarily, Rivers counters with a picture perfect head kick! Grant goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
