And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stephen Keyes!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keyes throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fermazi lands a jab to the nose.
Keyes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Stephen Keyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keyes moves out of range of the leg kick from Fermazi.
Fermazi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Keyes.
Keyes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fermazi counters with an inside leg kick.
Good work by Fermazi as he checks the leg kick.
A low kick from Keyes is predictable there
and Fermazi counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A slow jab from Keyes misses its intended target.
Fermazi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Keyes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fermazi at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fermazi tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fermazi throws a head kick that half lands.
Keyes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fermazi.

Fermazi closes the distance and pushes Keyes back into the ropes.
Fermazi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Keyes is defending well for now.

Fermazi tries to land knees in the clinch but Keyes avoids the damage to the body.

Fermazi dodges an elbow strike from Keyes.
Keyes trying to control the position but instead, Fermazi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Keyes into the ropes.
Keyes takes an elbow to the forehead.
Fermazi tries to land a knee to the head but Keyes blocks with his arms.
Keyes throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fermazi blocks it with crossed arms.
Fermazi letting Keyes take a breather here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Keyes is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fermazi is keeping busy.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fermazi is on top in guard.
Fermazi wants to control from the top but Keyes keeps moving.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fermazi is taking a breather. Keyes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fermazi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Fermazi seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Keyes is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

A less than humble Vladameir Fermazi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
