Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimo Khalua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berty Blox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blox has chosen I Want It All as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Kimo Khalua has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kimo Khalua seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blox gets a clinch.

Khalua rushes Blox and presses him up against the cage.
Khalua wants to break free but Blox has control.
Khalua is pressed up against the cage. Blox has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khalua down to the mat. Khalua avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Khalua moves into the clinch successfully.

Khalua bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Khalua frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Khalua thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Khalua is looking to take a break and control but Blox is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Khalua is nestled in close to Blox, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Khalua is pushing down on Blox's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blox is fighting to maintain full guard but Khalua has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Khalua drops an elbow to the side of Blox's head.

Khalua is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Khalua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blox is just riding it out for now. Khalua eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Blox keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Blox closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Khalua tries to bench press Blox off him but Blox keeps the position.
Khalua sneaks back into half guard.
Blox blocks the strikes from Khalua.
Khalua moves into full guard.

Khalua is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Khalua isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Blox stacks Khalua on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Blox!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Khalua's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are battling for position here. Khalua manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khalua is on top in guard.
Khalua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blox swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimo Khalua dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Khalua drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Khalua shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Khalua was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Khalua is landing with some decent strikes but Blox is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
