The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a head kick that misses.
Killer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Killer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.

Jackson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Killer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Killer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.

Killer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Killer off to one side.

Jackson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jackson pushes Killer back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Killer wants to break free but Jackson has control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Killer lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Killer looks winded!
Killer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gringo Killer dominated that round.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Killer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has Killer in his guard.

Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jabari Jackson.
I think Killer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
