Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, john jan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Repetto!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jan closes the distance and clinches up with Repetto, looking for a takedown. jan pushes Repetto against the ropes but Repetto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
jan dodges the punch combination from Repetto.
Repetto lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

jan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
jan tries to free his leg and advance position but Repetto is retaining full guard.
Repetto wants to stand but jan is controlling the position.

jan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and jan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

jan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
jan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Repetto wants to get back to his feet but jan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
jan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Repetto.
Repetto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

jan shoots for a takedown but Repetto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Repetto pushes jan up against the ropes in a clinch.

jan drags the fight down to the ground.
Repetto wants to get up but he can't break jan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
jan keeping moving, preventing Repetto from controlling successfully.
Repetto wanted to stand there but jan had control of the position.
Repetto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Repetto looks gassed!

Repetto wants to stand but jan is controlling his posture from full guard.

jan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Repetto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Repetto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Repetto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with jan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

jan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Repetto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Repetto stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Repetto misses with a two punch combination.
Repetto is looking to clinch but jan is avoiding it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
jan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Repetto as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for john jan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Repetto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Repetto throws a series of punches but jan avoids them all with ease.
Repetto works over jan's head and body with a nice combination.
jan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Repetto as he jumps to the side.

jan gets the takedown into side control.

jan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Repetto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Repetto is looking to reverse the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

jan is working to tighten is grip on Repetto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Repetto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but jan is really squeezing tight and eventually Repetto passes out! jan breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
