The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hope did well to prevent Benson getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Benson thows a huge punch but Hope dodges it nicely.
Hope tries to get to full guard but Benson has control of the leg.
Hope regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hope is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Benson defends well.
Benson is fighting to break Hope's control of his arms but Hope is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Benson wants to stand and escape but instead Hope has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hope loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hope makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hope drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hope jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hope drops back looking for a leg! Benson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Benson manages to kick Hope off! Hope jumps back into Benson's guard.

Hope stands and throws Benson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hope is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Benson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hope gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Benson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hope lets go of the hold and Benson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
