And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Lion misses the target.
Lion throws a series of punches but Godfrey moves out of range.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Godfrey. Lion shrugs it off though.
Godfrey scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Godfrey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lion.
Godfrey cracks Lion with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Godfrey has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lion to stand back up!
Lion is rocked!
It looks like ALtropos Lion has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Godfrey connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lion - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hubert Godfrey!
An out of breath Hubert Godfrey thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
