Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spox Beard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beard comes to the cage accompanied by Spock's Beard - The Great Nothing. Morgan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sherry Monocle. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan misses with a body shot.
Morgan throws a leg kick but Beard sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Beard delivers a nice body kick.

Beard throws a front kick aimed at Morgan's knee but Morgan avoids it well.

Beard gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Morgan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Beard rather than just go for the knockout.

Morgan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beard has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Beard is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Beard walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Morgan throws a head kick that Beard semi-blocks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Morgan.
Beard misses with a leg kick
and Morgan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Morgan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Oh Beard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Beard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Morgan scores with the left hand. Beard knows he should have avoided that one.

Beard on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Beard walks straight into a right hand from Morgan - that's dropped him! Morgan jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Beard from any more punishment! Beard complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
