Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andy McRandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peeta Paka Spiduhmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiduhmon has chosen Bob Marley - Three Little Birds as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andy McRandy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peeta Paka Spiduhmon!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiduhmon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McRandy tries to bum rush Spiduhmon with a series of wild strikes but Spiduhmon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spiduhmon throws a low kick but it's checked well by McRandy.
McRandy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McRandy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spiduhmon swivels and escapes.
Spiduhmon looks to land a body kick but McRandy moved away.
A head kick misses from Spiduhmon.
McRandy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Spiduhmon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown by McRandy or perhaps it was just good defense by Spiduhmon which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy McRandy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spiduhmon keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Spiduhmon gets caught napping as McRandy dives in and scores a takedown. Spiduhmon manages to retain guard.

McRandy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spiduhmon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McRandy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Spiduhmon wants to stand but McRandy is controlling the position.

McRandy stands up over Spiduhmon, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Spiduhmon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McRandy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McRandy postures up in Spiduhmon's guard and throws a big left but Spiduhmon blocks it.
McRandy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McRandy controlling from the top position.
Spiduhmon looking to control.
McRandy is looking to work some ground and pound but Spiduhmon has wrist control.
McRandy stays in close to Spiduhmon's body and controls the position.
Spiduhmon is trying to control the position but McRandy postures up.

Spiduhmon looking to hit a scissor sweep but McRandy is one step ahead there.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Peeta Paka Spiduhmon wasn't active enough on the ground.
McRandy shoots in for a double leg but Spiduhmon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Spiduhmon tries to sprawl but McRandy drives through with a takedown into half guard.
McRandy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
McRandy content to control rather than advance.
McRandy winds up and cracks Spiduhmon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spiduhmon is trying to maintain the position but McRandy is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McRandy in particular looking to stall.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McRandy slips a nice elbow through Spiduhmon's hands, connecting with Spiduhmon's forehead.
McRandy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Still in half guard, McRandy seems content to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Spiduhmon is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! McRandy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That kick from Spiduhmon tenderised McRandy's leg. McRandy is trying to keep his angry face on.

Spiduhmon throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McRandy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

McRandy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McRandy throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Spiduhmon to regain full guard.

McRandy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Spiduhmon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McRandy throws a big elbow that misses.
Spiduhmon wants to sweep but no luck.
Spiduhmon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McRandy forces his way into half guard.
Spiduhmon is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute McRandy jumps into side control!
McRandy is staying tight to Spiduhmon's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Spiduhmon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spiduhmon can do anything to dispel that myth.

McRandy cracks Spiduhmon with a big right hand but Spiduhmon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
McRandy scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Spiduhmon to see if he's OK.

McRandy in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Spiduhmon looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! McRandy turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy McRandy!
A very excited looking Andy McRandy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
