The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Petrov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fairtex checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Fairtex is rocked!
Petrov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fairtex stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Petrov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Petrov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fairtex manages to avoid it.

Fairtex takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fairtex takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice body punch from Petrov.
Fairtex gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Fairtex tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Petrov is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Fairtex buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Fairtex!! Fairtex is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Petrov throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
