Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuka Muukaan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuka Muukaan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thorsen pushes Muukaan up against the cage in a clinch.
Thorsen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Muukaan fights it off and pushes away nicely.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Muukaan throws a front kick aimed at Thorsen's knee but Thorsen avoids it well.
Muukaan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thorsen.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Muukaan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thorsen swivels and escapes.
Muukaan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Thorsen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Muukaan.

so Thorsen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Muukaan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Muukaan lands a brutal head kick. Thorsen looks out on his feet and Muukaan throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
