The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Grimaud counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Killer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grimaud doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grimaud manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Grimaud changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Killer tries to avoid it but Grimaud manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Killer to the ground. Killer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Killer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
