The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukkonen checks a low kick from Barry.
Barry throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Barry misses with a body shot.
Barry is looking to clinch but Kukkonen is avoiding it.
Kukkonen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kukkonen lets loose with a powerful body kick. Barry will feel that in the morning.
Kukkonen cracks Barry with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kukkonen checks a leg kick.
Barry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kukkonen.
Kukkonen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Barry if he has to take too many more of those.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barry walks into a straight right hand from Kukkonen.
Kukkonen lands with a big right hook that stumbles Barry - he's out on his feet here! Kukkonen follows up with another monster hook that separates Barry from consciousness! Barry falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kukkonen stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

After the fight, Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
