And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isch feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Isch changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Isch is pressing down on Silva 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Isch is retaining full guard.
Isch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Silva is aware though and is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva looking to improve position, pressing down on Isch's thigh with his hand. Isch seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Silva paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Silva 's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Isch picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
