Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Mayweather!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Griffin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bart Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Bart Griffin has been cut.

Griffin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Griffin lands in his opponent's guard.

Mayweather loads up on a big right hand but Griffin slips the punch.
Mayweather fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Griffin gets the takedown into side control.
Griffin advances nicely into full mount.

Griffin looking to secure an arm triangle but Mayweather defends it well.

Griffin has hold of Mayweather's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mayweather manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Griffin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Mayweather throws a hook to the side of Griffin's head but Griffin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Mayweather throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Griffin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mayweather is looking to reverse the position.
Griffin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mayweather!

Griffin wants to finish this one by submission but Mayweather is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Griffin.

Mayweather's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mayweather is trying to defend against the choke here but Griffin has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Griffin Tightens the hold and Mayweather taps out furiously! Griffin displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
