Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yin Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Balboa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yin Yang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yang counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Balboa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Yang counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Yang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balboa is looking to stand up but Yang isn't so interested in that idea.
Yang advances position into side control!
Yang advances nicely into full mount.
Yang tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yang lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yang looking to control and managing it successfully.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

We're going to have a standup here because Yin Yang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Balboa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Yang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Balboa's guard.
Balboa wants to stand and escape but Yang is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yang advances position into side control!
Balboa wants to get back to his feet but Yang drags him back down.
Balboa trying to remain calm as Yang controls from the top position.
Balboa is pushing Yang's head away, looking to escape. Yang manages to hold on to the position though.
Balboa looks winded!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Balboa seems a little lost for a moment, as Yang dominates the positioning.

We're going to have a standup here because Yin Yang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Balboa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Yang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yang.

Yang turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Balboa is trying to escape the position but Yang is controlling the position.
Yang scoring with punches from side control.
A lull in the action here.
Balboa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Yang controls the position.
Yang advances to full mount.
Yang tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Balboa wants to try and get back to his feet.
Yang sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Balboa's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Balboa is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Yang locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Balboa is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Yin Yang!
