Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Slim Shady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oktawian August (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). August has chosen Hit 'em up as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
August connects with an inside leg kick.
Shady doesn't succeed with the takedown
and August counters with a thumping low kick.
Shady with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling August to score with a decent uppercut.
Shady takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slim Shady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
August uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
August stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and August wants it to stay on the feet.
August swings for the body but Shady moves out of range.
Shady looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Shady. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Shady closes the distance and clinches up with August, looking for a takedown. Shady pushes August against the cage but August circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Shady throws out a loose jab but August uses good head movement to avoid it.
August tests Shady's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Shady throws the left hand but August avoids the punch easily.
Shady needs to keep his hands up - August had a free shot at his head there.
Oh Shady is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

August connects with a body shot that sends Shady's belly button to the back.
August lands a lovely overhand right.

August scores with a hook to the body. Shady takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

August cracks Shady with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shady looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can August finish him?
August scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

August rushes Shady and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

August drops Shady with a big knee straight up the middle! Shady is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
August closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Shady out cold! Shady corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
