Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black moves into the clinch.

Spencer is trying to pull guard but Black has him pressed against the cage.
Spencer wants to break the clinch but can't.
Black is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Spencer jumps guard but Black turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Black makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Black.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black has hold of Spencer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Spencer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Black scores with a hook to the body. Spencer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Spencer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Black is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spencer is just riding it out for now. Black eventually gives up the hold.

A head kick from Black lands but Spencer takes it in his stride.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Spencer avoids it really well and circles away.
Spencer shoots in looking for a takedown but Black manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Spencer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Black dives in and grabs Spencer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spencer pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Black gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Black changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spencer tries to avoid it but Black manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spencer to the ground. Spencer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
